Time sure does feel like it keeps going faster and faster. Almost 10 years ago Patience and I were doing this walk almost daily with the hope that exercise would induce labor and we would get to meet Abbee. We always started in downtown Bellingham after parking outside of a motorcycle shop that was about a block away from the many parking meters downtown. #keepingitlowbudget #neededtobuycoffee
It was always a tough decision when I would get coffee for the walk. It was either downtown before we started or it was at The Woods Coffee at Boulevard Park. Unfortunately, none of our walks within a week or two of Abbee’s due date actually did anything to speed up the whole birth process but it definitely made some fun memories and a lot of coffee consumed!
Just before I left with the kids to start our new life in Kansas I had the pleasure of meeting up with my buddy Jake to shoot some film in many of the same places that Patience and I walked by so many times. It’ll be awesome to do it again when we come home and visit.
In the meantime we’ll continue to look at these photos when we miss home.
