Using a computer to design something as amazing as the Hoover Dam would be impressive but the fact that it was designed on paper blows my mind every single time I get to go there.

Years before we had kids, Patience and I went on a trip to Las Vegas.  Little did I know that we would have to cross the Hoover Dam on our way into Nevada.  It was one of the coolest places I had ever seen and it was also one of the most memorable surprises I have ever had on a trip.  Every time we go to the southwest, I try to make sure we make at least a quick stop at the Hoover Dam.  My only advice is that you get there right when it opens at 8:00 in morning and park on the Arizona side where it’s free.
