Photography is one of the things in my life that has brought me out of my shell. In 2013 I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to attend one of the photo industries most popular workshops, Film is Not Dead at Lake Tahoe. One of the people I met while I was there was Andrea.
While we had never met in person before attending the Film is Not Dead workshop, I had actually reached out to her several months prior to the workshop when I was considering attending the same workshop in Phoenix that she was going to. Sometimes things work out even better than we originally plan and we both ended up going to Lake Tahoe.
Andrea is one of several people I have been in contact with since attending that workshop. During one of our visits to Arizona we had the great pleasure of photographing her amazing family. I already miss living in Arizona and spending time with them during our trip was one of those things that made me miss living in Arizona even more. Our kids all get along great, Cody is a great guy and it’s incredibly fun to spend time with all of them.
So, thank you Film is Not Dead! I may have approached that workshop with the intention of learning about using film in my photography but I left with much more than that!
